Travel industry publishing veterans
Jay Campbell,
David Jonas and
Tim Reid created
ProMedia.travel in early 2006. Longtime colleagues
Louis Magliaro and
Mary Ann McNulty joined shortly thereafter, followed in 2008 by Lauren Darson and
Elizabeth West.

Tim has more than a 20-year history in the
corporate travel, meetings and incentive
industries with an extensive background in
publishing, marketing, sales
management, direct mail, research, face-to-face event development, trade
show management, content licensing, circulation and database
management. Prior to forming ProMedia.travel, Tim served as vice
president and group publisher of the
Travel and Performance Group at
VNU Publications. The brand portfolio included:
Business Travel News,
Successful Meetings,
Meeting News,
Incentive and
Potentials.

Jay founded
Business Travel Beat, Inc. in August 2004
and ProMedia.travel continues to publish
The Beat, a subscription-supported
travel business newsletter. Jay has covered the
travel industry for seventeen years including roles as
executive editor and columnist with
BTN and a division of
Reuters. Jay is a prolific writer and leading industry commentator.

former hotel sales manager and graduate of the Farleigh Dickinson International School of Hospitality Management.

reporter with
The Beat. He is one of America's
top airline industry journalists, and has authored more than a thousand articles, features and research reports on a wide range of
business travel and
travel management issues.

For nearly 20 years, Mary Ann has documented the transformation of managed travel and meetings in
more than 2,000 articles and research reports published in
Corporate Travel magazine,
Meeting News,
Resorts & Incentives and
BTN. In her most recent position, McNulty spent six years as editor of StarCite's
online news section, producing news, newsletters and marketing content for the start-up meetings technology provider. Recognizing her contributions to the industry, the Association of Corporate Travel Executives honored her with its
Professionalism Award in 2000.

Elizabeth brings 10 years of experience in
meetings and business travel
publishing to ProMedia.travel. She previously held positions as director of
custom publishing for the Travel and Performance Group of Nielsen Business
Media and as the editor-in-chief of
MeetingNews and
Potentials
magazines. Beth has worked with major hotel corporations, destinations,
transportation providers and technology companies to produce
original
publications and
digital products for the meetings and business
travel sectors.

The Legislative Gazette. Lauren is a native New Yorker and graduate of CUNY Brooklyn College. She covers the
lodging sector for ProMedia.travel.

Paul Gutches, Director of Digital Media |
Paul has over 10 years experience integrating
design and web technologies, beginning
in 1999 as webmaster for Silicon Alley startup methodfive, where he maintained Journal
Register Corps. pioneering
online newspaper empire. Paul has since held positions as design
technologist for publicly traded web services firm Xceed, Inc., and as
interactive designer/developer for online gaming companies NoPay2Play and GameTrust.
Before joining ProMedia.travel, Paul provided services as an independent contractor
for Brooklyn based MetaFoundry, and developed an integrated
custom publishing system
for ProMedia.travel's suite of
business travel news sites.
